Happy Birthday to our Girls!!

Our daughters in China have each had a birthday this week. It is interesting because my heart has been heavy knowing it is their birthdays and we have not been able to celebrate it with them or even send them a cake. Because we are so early in the process we cannot risk it, it is much more important that we have many birthdays together in the future!

I thought that this time(our third adoption) I would feel peaceful, knowing we have a ways to go with Sarah but instead I an eager to bring our daughters home. I want them to know who their parents are, their family and their home. I am eager to get the process moving... faster... it feels so very slow.

If you get a chance please pray for our darling daughters in China and that the adoption process begins to move along.

Gods Blessings to you!

I have lots of pics and will post them as soon as I can! They are precious sisters!

Happy Birthday to your China girls. We, too, wait for our little Eli and feel the process is sooooooooo slow. It is hard to wait when you know who is waiting for you.

I will definitely say a prayer for them and for you, as I know first hand how very difficult the wait can be! Can't wait until you are able to share their sweet photos!

Blessings and Hugs,

I am praying for them, and you too. I know how you feel. Our girls turned 8 and 13 in April and May. I cried, and had to tell myself, this is their last one without a family. We couldn't send anything either. We are still in the beginning phases. We have no photos to even SEE it is driving me nuts. We will pray for your "new sisters" along with our own. And may God rushthis up!!(please?)

Jean, my heart is heavy with you. Ava Meiying's birthday was in June so I know the feeling of missing your daughter(s) on their birthday. For what it's worth, you know that Ava is friends (and is almost always next to one of your daughters in all the pictures I have), I'm sure they are having a b-day celebration in class for your daughters and that Ava is giving her lots of smiles and friendship! I'm praying for all 3 of the girls today...and every day.

Happy Birthday to your sweet sister girls!

I hate how slow this process is...certainly thoroughness is the utmost importance so that orphans are adopted by wonderfully caring parents but golly gee, does it have to take sooo stinkin' long?!

Hang in there sweet friend, things are moving along even if it is at a snail's pace.

Praying for your girls!!

Praying for those precious girls this week on their special day. Just think it is their last one without a family!!! YIPPEE Jesus!

I can just imagine them looking pristine in their Chinese clothes and braids this last week for their big day!

I always try to tell myself to enjoy the process and anticipation of it all. It can be part of the joy of adoption.

Praying they are blessed in a special way on their birthdays. Also praying that you are all blessed with a speedy process. I have just begun to feel the pain in the waiting as we wait to bring our little one home. Next year's birthday will be so special for all of you!

I can't wait til you can post the girls pictures! Do you have chipmunks?, they are getting our tomatoes, nibbling a little, then leaving them on the patio.
Do they not understand they are being wasteful!=) Janet
