Sticky Girl!

This girl is a messy eater and she prefers not to wash her hands after eating!

She often wears most of her food ... in her hair. She does not like to get her hair combed... at all.

She cries when we make her wash her hands...
She cries when we comb her hair...
She cries when we give her a bath to wash out the food in her hair...
Sometimes we have not made her wash her hands after eating...
Sometimes we don't comb her hair...
Sometimes we don't give her a bath to wash the food out of her hair...
Why?
Because she cries...
She's smart...
Were not...
We're onto her...

So are the ants...
Yep, I said ants...
They only go to where Anna sits...

We are making some changes! So the ants don't visit us (Anna) anymore!
We're washing hands after every meal!
We're washing food out of hair!
We're calling an exterminator!

(we're wiping down the counter after every meal... and the floor - my bad)
It's not a huge problem BUT I hate bugs... of any kind!
Especially if they are in my house!

NO MORE STICKY GIRL!

Hee hee. I once had a little girl (who shall remain nameless) who hated the brushing of hair and teeth, etc. She's all grown up now. :)

One day, Miss Anna will be really concerned with hygiene.

The ants around here are especially bad this year, if that makes you feel any better. I've heard it from numerous people, even the salesman at Lowe's.

Hee heeee, yes, I so understand. We have a little girl who fits the "there was a little girl, who had a littlle curl" poem to a "T" She cries to have her beautiful curls combed out. It is exhausting and hurts.(for BOTH of us!) Then our little hispanic Chica who has glossy straight raven hair... we thought would be easy to comb. But no. We find syrup, jelly and other things make it tangly. The other day, was a "skip hair washing" day. AKA "bubble bath day" I was helping her brush teeth(amid crying on her part) and noticed a tangle. When we started to comb it... it was a piece of dried spaghetti from supper that had glued itself to her hair. NOT good. In short, I feel your pain. And Moriah and Olivia feel Anna's.

Ok seriously that has got to be a pain, but looking at it from this side of the computer just makes it plain funny! Bless her heart, how cute is that?!! I think this is one of those stories that you look back at 20 years from now and say hey, remember when you were the queen of the ant army that invaded our home?! Good times!

I can't believe Lee Lee and Anna were from the same village! We try to get Lee Lee not to wash everything so much!! She loves Purell - hopefully this doesn't turn into OCD:)
Praying for you. The girls picked out a little something for the plane ride over - sending it tomorrow.
