4/1- Flight from LA to MSP! Home Sweet Home!!

We are leaving 6 days! There is still so much to do- packing, preparing for the sitter, packing, yadda yadda yadda.
Since we have been to China a few times and seen the tourist type things we hope to do fun things with the kids on of free/optional days. If you have any ideas of things to do in Zhengzhou or GZ- please mention them in the comment section!

I was just thinking the other night- of course it was in the middle of the night that I got thinking and didn't fall back asleep- what if they went ahead and gave Sam the surgery we asked them not to. It is completely possible- they don't always listen to the perspective parents. We asked our agency to inquire about it- so hopefully we will have an answer before we leave. We may be bringing pull ups instead of ostomy supplies?

This is what we have so far for the boys room. The pic is just resting on the headboard. We need to do the finishing touches BUT to be honest that will happen once we get back! Right now we just need to focus on getting to China and getting home! And just an FYI those are waves on the night stands NOT scallops! Waves are much more manly!

The double bed works great for guests but at some point we will be putting bunks in here, too! How many? Dunno?

We are coming to get you Ava and Sam!! Can't wait!

Okay- it's back to work for me!!

The zoo in GZ is a must - it's been 8 years since we were there but our 3 and 6 yr old daughters we adopted loved it! They had pony rides, could feed animals. In fact when we bought some food for the bears, Abby started eating it!!! The girls also had ice cream for the first time while we were there.

Adorable room for Sam!
Safe travels!

Jean, are the friends in Beijing in need of any supplies/donations by chance? Do you have room to bring anything they might need?

Love, love, love the boys room! Gotcha Day is my anniversary day:) Can't believe you will be in China next week!! Praying the Lord will begin to prepare Sam and Ava's heart for all the changes that will soon take place and give them much peace about it all!

The boys' room looks GREAT!

We visited the Safari Park while in GZ and our kids all loved it. It is a bit of a drive, but worth it IMO!

Happy packing~

It is so close to your travel date! In fact, you leave when our friends Tim and Anna return to Indiana from China with their new little son! How cool is that? One forever family comes home while another one begins their journey.

Love the new room. We have got to kick Ted out of his room in the summer to decorate for Sophia. He will either go in our family room with a day bed or move out into his own place. It all depends upon what the "great job search" comes up with. He is hoping for a full-time job and a move into his own place! Can't say that I blame him!!

I would second the Safari and the circus. It was so much fun for Bryson and Gio even though it was so hot. I can't remember if you did it with the girls or not.

Love the room!!! But love your heart for going and getting two more pumpkins!!!!

Exciting! Hard to believe you're going so soon. You will be going on Bryan's birthday, so that's easy for me to remember.
Very cute boys room you've made. :)

I am here if you need anything at all. Please let me know.

Wishing you a terrific trip!

Darn you! I think you are going to beat us home with yours!! We've been running neck and neck but that court staff lagged in getting us a judge assigned and put us behind a couple of weeks. Their little fiesta may cost us this race by a week! Greg might be leaving for Bulgaria the day your arrive home. I'll just have to take solice that I've lapped my friend Joli in GA; although this little bomb she dropped about a sibling "group" may result in another loss. We'll have to get you on the next round Jean!! AAAGGGHHHH!!!

Blessings, Jennifer

P.S. of course you know I am kidding about this :)

All the best,
