Problem Solving!

Can I have water, juice, milk? Yes!
Pop? No!

We go through so many glasses each day so I got the children mugs with their names on it!

The step stool is right by the kitchen sink and the mugs are right there also! Each one can get their own glass of water whenever they need it!

They did not have an Ava so she is princess!

Good for you! I thought about this, wondering how all those cups, toothbrushes, etc. are handled and how do you keep from having mix-ups. Now we know!
Enjoy the rain. I know I am!

Genius my friend! Pure genius?! Wait. Is that how you spell genius? Well, I am apparently far from one. But nonetheless what a great idea! Our cup(and fork and spoon) quantity's haven't yet caught up with our larger family.

I did that with our family for years, only we have colors. I'm still working on the 3 young boys to understand that it is just one cup per day. They each have their color and cup, too, but sometimes I have 3 cups of the same color out!

Yea! What a good idea. I need to do something like that but I have very unusual childrens names. I'll have to assign spiderman, buzz lightyear, etc. Also, I love it when someone else uses the word pop. I'm from Okla and say pop but I live in Alabama and everyone says coke, no matter what they are drinking. very strange.

We do this with water bottles that stay in the fridge, to be washed every couple of days.

We have color coded cups, plates, bowls and towels for each of the kids. I did this even when the olders were littles. It works great. I see a green towel on the floor, I know who to go remind to hang it up!!

I did a similar thing! It was crazy having to use all those glasses and cups every day. I don't have them with their names but they have different colored ones. It works like a charm!

I haven't color coded--yet. We do use the same cups all day, they just remember who had which cup.
In the bathroom we are color coded thought. I looked for the longest to find the bathroom colors, in a heavy acrylic cup that would not tump over with the toothpaste and toothbrush in it. Each has their own tube, so if someone is being extremely wasteful, we don't play the blame game.

yep..I learned that a long time ago.....we have color code cups, so if they don't finish their milk or juice it can go in the fridge and we dont' have to worry about remembering who is who.....Great idea about the names on the cups

Yes, we have dishes and cups and towels. Each child has a COLOR that is their very own. If I find a towel on the floor instead of on the hook, I know who needs to come clean up!

And the dishes, they wash their plates and cups and bowls by hand after each use. I do run them in the dishwasher a couple of times a week (or more if someone has a bug).
