We're Here!!

The flight went great!! The best ever!! The plane was not full so we snuck a little extra room and got some shut eye on the plane!

Tomorrow morning we have BKF with friends and then we are on a plane to Xi'an to meet Abby!! I can't believe we are going to meet her tomorrow!! Yayay God!!

We will be for 5 days/4 nights so- if you have any ideas were to go or what to see please leave a comment!! Thank you Julie! We will definitely visit the Terracotta warriors  and the dumpling place!! We are also hoping to go to the orphanage!!

Thank you for your prayers for our journey!! We so appreciate them!!

Will try to post after we get Abby praying it works!!

Blessings to you!

Jean - the Terracotta Warriors are awesome - a must see! Also, the city wall around Xian is pretty and gives you a good view. Which hotel are you staying in? Be careful crossing streets around the Xian Civil Affairs Office as it seemed really dangerous with heavy and erratic traffic. We have been in three provinces, but the streets around the city of Xian seemed especially treacherous. Can hardly wait to see pictures of your new daughter in your arms.

Hugs,
janet and gang

so glad you are there safe and sound...when in Xian, go shopping in the Muslim quarter, I am told this is the best place to shop (we had a friend live in Xian for a few years) - we ran out of time when we were sightseeing there, but you know the rest of the places to go already

So excited for you!! Glad you got some rest on the plane. Since you went through Detroit, that must mean you flew Northwest. BTDT. Their food is horrible. I totally understand why you ate in the airport! Can't believe you are actually IN CHINA right now!!! :) Will you see Bill and Lynsay?

Jean,

I am so happy to see you are there safe and will soon have your treasures. I was hoping our paths would cross in China but I am in Nanning now and will leave Guangzhou next Wednesday so I don't think we will. I had so hoped to meet you. Praying that everything goes smoothly and you have a fantastic trip.
