I'm Guessing Your Day Was Better Than Mine!

By any chance did you have your four wheels taken from your car today?

Our sweet older daughter (I won't mention her name) needed a larger vehicle to move some of her school supplies out of her school room.

The school supplies were unharmed...
after all, I guess they didn't want old crayons and markers...

But wheels they wanted
wheels they got!

And of course hubby was on a business trip...

And yes I did call
"your in good h*nds" about this predicament...

They felt I should find two wheels so it could be towed...

Ima girl
and Ima not gonna be finding two wheels...

I'm sorry
yes, I am working with a bit of an attitude here...

I am in such good h*nds then you find the two wheels and tow my car...

Of course those that know me know this is not my car.

Oh no, siree!

I would never be caught in something so cool as this vehicle!

I drive Vanna
and only Vanna!

Sooooo, He still sits...

without wheels.

They definitely knew what they were doing...

they knew what they wanted!

After 6, 000 phone calls we may be headed in the right directions to solving this dilemma!
(okay, I may exaggerating a little and may have multiplied buy 1,000).

Kate (ohhhhhhh, I said I wasn't going to mention her name, OOPS, my bad)
and I went on and had a great day and got lots of wedding things done!

So there...
whoever you are!

I am so sorry, but I was just dieting laughing my little and husband had to come see. So funny that it says harmony vista in the background!

Is there any way to find out who took the wheels. Security cameras in the area? It seems the good hands people need to step up and get the job done! I'm so sorry this has happened!

Oh my! What people do....

Praying God's protection over the vehicle until it's towed and His kick in the pants to the good hands people so they do what you pay them for! Geesh!

It's so crazy it's almost funny. But not funny. I hope your "hands" are more helpful today!

Oh my stars!!!! I'm so sorry! Makes my day very rosy, indeed :)

Ummm, let's see...NO, I cannot say that my day was worse than yours. Not by far!

Holy smokes, girl...what kind of neighborhoods was unnamed girl hanging out in?? And this happened in broad daylight? I assume you filed a police report? And then curled up in a corner in the fetal position?

I am guessing that TODAY will be the best day of your life, comparatively.

Oh, and it made for a seriously hilarious blog post. So that makes it all worth it. For US anyway. This one's going to be hard to top.

Oh My Word!

Its time for Katie to get out of dodge! Is this where she's working?
It might be time for a body guard or a tazer or something!
I thought that just happened in the movies.

Hope you get back on the road FAST!

Oh no! I am so sorry that it has happened! Poor Katie must be so shocked when she saw your car without the wheels!

Are you serious! I'd be a sobbing mess. You've handled it much better.

That is absolutely CRAZY! And no one saw the 4 tires being removed???? Goodness.

I am totally puzzled how they could do this and not have someone report it while it was happening. I lived in this city for 13 years and frequent it several times a week still. This is NOT a bad neighborhood, in fact it's a newer complex in a desirable area. Very strange indeed. That particular model must be targeted for ease of removing tires? I'm so sorry Jean, what a hassle!

Oh my stars! I can't get over how this could happen in broad daylight!!! Completely blows me away! Those good hands have been less than good hands for us a few times....hence why we are no longer in their hands!!!
Your grace in situations like this is amazing...I'd be a ball of stress!!

Oh my! So sorry!

Oh! That is terrible. How in the world??? I'm shocked, I have been away from home for too long! :)

OH, my, we had a sort-of similar day. My eldest daughter crashed into a park car at the end of the driveway yesterday as she was backing out to go to work.

The car was BRAND NEW!!! Owner had it for 1 week. (Thankfully he was REALLY nice about it.)

The funny (NOT!) thing is, this beloved daughter of mind said, "I don't know what happened? I SAW the car but couldn't put the gear in "drive" fast enough."

Hello? Have you heard of a "Brake" in driver's ed.?

SO glad to know you have a great attitude about it.

I'm shocked there weren't any witnesses.

Take Care.

Can hardly believe it. Looks like businesses behind it, didn't anyone witness it?
I bet you'll joke about it for years---after getting everything straitened out.
I USED to drive that cool vehicle, now I drive a Vanna too.

OH NO!!!!!!! I'm SO sorry this happened to you. Talk about a 'character-building, patience-testing' kind of day... OUCH! Where was this at ~ I need to make sure I don't park there!!! ;) I'm sure Katie was beside herself. Not cool!!

I have never even heard of such a thing happening. Yep . . . I am a "country girl" and people around here still park and leave their keys in the ignition. Yes. They. Do.

My kids will get a laugh (on your behalf) when I show them these pics tomorrow. Sorry.

Ummm ... gotta ask . . . what's a "Vanna"? Yep. Country girl, I am.

Glad you still went out and had a fun day with Katie.

:) :) :)
