Global Warming?

Oh please!

it's april...

but not really...

because it's

snowing
raining
sleeting
gusty winds
30 degrees
and that's not counting the wind chill...

this is so not fair...

This was written yesterday April 14th.

Today (April 15th), the sun has tried to peak out but it's been a feeble attempt...

I have heard that it is supposed to turn around on April 24th...

I'll believe it when I see it!

I think we need to MOVE!

Tell me about the weather where you live?

Okay, the weather is about the same as yours here in CO today, BUT it is usually much, much warmer than MN. Plus, if you want snow, you can just go up into the mountains! It's a win/win all around. I definitely think that CO is the way to go!

We have the same weather as you, Jean...northern Iowa...not fun at all. I have grown weary of the cold this year. I totally feel your pain! I need some sunshine and warm weather!

Oh, golly. That's just not right! You poor dear!

Well, the weather here in Kansas is not snowy right now...but we've got a week of rain ahead of us. And it's cold. So, don't move here! OH WAIT, YES, move here!!! What I meant to say was, it's 75 & sunny all year-round.

What state are YOU in?

Okay, I am sorry to tell you this but I live in Cocoa Beach, FL. 80s here! Air conditioning is on. Outside gardening. Before you feel too bad, keep in mind that it will get so hot here that I won't even go out to the beach! My 18-year-old twins saw snow for the first time in their lives this year. Sure hope you warm up soon.

I SO feel for you. You must be so over the snow by now. Especially with the 11 and all the snow gear. Oh, my!

Come on down to NC. We are about 4hours from the coast and about 2 from the mtns. You could visit the mtns. for a day trip and enjoy some snow if you were missing it to badly. :) Tomorrow's forecast is calling for the low 80's.

Sunny, clear and humid. Low 80s. Houston, TX area. We are going to TN this Saturday and I can't wait to get away from the heat and humidity for a week! I've lived here all my life and no, you NEVER get used to it. :-)

Sad to say that our ground might have even a little more snow than you :( I think we're a little more north. (the upper peninsula of MI) So I can sympathize!!!
We've had a very cold, wet spring, BUT we enjoyed temps in the 50s today! Another snow storm is expected by the end of the week though

I hear you on the "PUHLEEZE"!!!
enough already:)
We did have sun and 49 today, so that does help, and the snow missed us that you captured so beautifully with your camera-but enough of the cold, dreary, gray and rainy-
it is time for SPRING!!!
your wisconsin neighbor!!!

Madison, Mississippi 85 degrees today! Which was great except it's only April so it's gonna be HOT soon! We will enjoy "spring" while we can though!

I live about 35 miles northwest of you so I know exactly what you're talking about. And I have to drive 40 miles to work (and 40 miles back) each day. I'm so tired of driving in it!

Just north of Atlanta it was about 78 today but the pollen - is horrible. Your weather should change on my 37th wedding anniversary (April 24)!

Wow, I wish I was in that warm weather of other posters. I woke up to snow as well and a forecast for snow the next two days. I don't believe in global warming either, just try to go play in the Spring sunshine or even rain in Utah.

I am originally from upstate New York with lake effect snow. So I know how much cabin fever sets in in the spring when it won't warm up like it should. When I was a child I remember taking walks in the woods with my dad and seeing snow in the shadows on the ground in June! When I was 14 we moved to North Georgia. I have lived here most of my life now. So right now the pollen is so thick and yellow, the air is hazy. The fruit trees are blooming as well as the dogwoods. We have baby goats and chicks out in the barn. Our ponies are shedding out their winter coat and I have plans to work out in the raised garden beds today. We will call it home schooling today. :) It is supposed to get in the high 70's today. If you want to torture yourself take a look at my blog and see some spring that I am sure will eventually come your way! hand in there. blessings, susan www.muchbiggerthanme.blogspot.com

Lol...can't help but to laugh! That's unreal that it's still snowing in some places.

Our weather here in SW Florida, high 80's all week, sunny and beautiful. Has been beautiful now for about 2 weeks, as we have been having some really cold weather ourselves with highs in the 60's, that's a heat wave for you guys. We also finally are able to jump in our pool and it's all good.

Here in Hinckley we are "suffering' with you! My husband is itching to get in the fields and while we are tired of snow and cold we are so thankful for the moisture.

It was 70 and sunny yesterday in Michigan! Not so much today....! But my fiance is from Minneapolis and we will be moving out there after a year in Michigan - he keeps telling me this MN April snow is a fluke, but I'm not feeling very convinced!

It's 80 degrees and sunny today in Kentucky!

Arizona! Beautiful weather year round so kids can be outside - oh yes, it's terribly hot in the summer. But hey, the mountains are close by so you can get to cooler temps any time you want. We have been in shorts for about a month, beautiful blue skies, roses blooming, etc. We are from the midwest and don't miss all that cold and snow at all! I'll take hot anyday over that!!

You really need to come to Nashville Tn. The weather is mild but we get 4 seasons. People are super friendly and we have lots of adoptive families here and mega-families. We have 11 ages 30-5. Our friends have 13 ages 33-4, and there are more like us! Come visit us in Music City! I guarantee you will want to move here!

It's warm and sunny here. We went by the pool supply place today to get the pool shocked and ready for swimming! It won't be long! Now only if it was an in ground pool!

I love your snow photos! It's to bad they were taken in April! Hang in there...spring is on the way!

From Northern Maine: we had snow on Saturday, which melted by late afternoon. Saw some more on Sunday. Monday was sunny and maybe 40s, but somewhat windy. Today was cloudy in am, raining, windy, cold in pm. The wind is really blustery tonight. All pretty typical for April in Maine.

We have had the coldest spring this year in Colorado. I'm sick of it. A good chiropractor should be able to give you some relief from the sciatica.
