What's been Happening Here!

I am so sorry - once again I have not been posting.
Life has been busy - It's a good busy BUT it's still busy!

Katie and I were able to go to Colorado Springs- there future home, to look at houses for them!

It was so so much fun!

We spent the day looking at homes and then met up with Matt and Caitlin for dinner!

It was so wonderful to have this time with my big kids!
Such a treat!

We got to talk baby and wedding the whole time-
which just happens to be my favorite topics!

Three generations… well kind of!

I love this pics of the 4 of us BUT the camera choose to focus on the flowers instead of us!
Yes, the flowers were beautiful!

Look - no wrinkles! Blurry works for me!

Morning coffee and donuts!

And then off to look at more homes before flying home!

We had dinner at home on Kate's last night for whoever could attend.

I have no idea how this got started but the topic was wing span!

Yes, many of the littles had their wing span measured too!
Love how we are all made so differently even if we are bio- the differences where amazing- and funny!

I may have shrunk BUT at least my arms haven't!

Johnny brought his own cereal to the gathering...
I guess there wasn't any milk at the college house ;-)

As you can see years of teaching how to eat healthy, didn't work!

The next morning was goodbyes.
;-(

Of course, everyone had to feel the baby move before Katie left!

And baby girl did her best to accommodate us!

Thank you for visiting us Katie and baby!

We all loved our time with you!

Awwww, you'll be back to the states soon!

Last minute hugs!

Love you ALL!

Feeling Blessed!

aww, what a precious post! It made me a little sad, too. But, it won't be long before Mama & Babe & Daddy, too will be back! Seeing your children touching that Baby Bump is cool! To learn and experience the wonder of Life and how we all are carried, is both sweet & bitter-sweet.
Okay, the "wing span" thing...that is your actual Height!! From the tip of the middle finder to the tip of the other finger is how tall you are! Another Fun thing to share with the Kiddo's: if you measure the inside if your lower arm, from the inside of the elbow to the inner wrist, that is the size of your foot!! Try it! A really quick way to measure for shoe size when you're in a hurry! Oh, and children UNDER 5 years Cannot put their arm over their head and touch the opposite ear! There you go! Home-School Anatomy class for children. And, I have a lot more Fun Facts if you are interested. : ) Hugs! Jo

I have been a Happy Peeker for many years, I'm just not a writer. I have followed your journeys to bring your precious children home. I have laughed with you, cried with you, loved with you......and prayed and prayed with you, and for you. Your famiily is so beautiful, and so much fun. I love watching your precious ones as they grow, learn, and experience the wonderful things life has to offer - and learn about our Heavenly Father. I have loved getting to know your Bigs and Littles...such precious lives. It is going to be so great to watch Kate's little one grow, and I can't wait for the happiness of all of you being together for the wedding. I check your blog at least twice a day. Do you think you could start posting two times a day ;)). Love your pictures, and stories so much. How fantastic that you will have more family in Colorado, and closer to you. Colorado Springs has a special place in my heart. My son, daughter-in-law, and three grandkds live there. If your kids in the Springs need a good dentist - that would be my son ;)). (Billy served in the Army in Germany, and Ft. Carson as well.) He also has a beautiful home for sale ;)). Sorry for rambling on. That's why I don' write, I am a Rambler! I enjoy your blog so very much. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. God bless and be with each one of you. Lynne. :)))

Thanks for sharing! You have such a beautiful family.
On a completely different topic, where did you get the long shirt you are wearing when you were visiting the older kids. I love it!
