Introducing!

Our little boy!

He will be coming home with our Grace!

We are so excited to be blessed with this sweet, sweet boy!

He was being advocated for by a friend, when we saw his pic…
He caught our eye right away-
 that smile,
the twinkle in his eye,
I think he is going to get into a little mischief, what do you think?
We can't wait to get him in our arms and never let him go!

I couldn't believe he didn't have a family yet…
But of course he didn't…
 because WE ARE his family!!!

He just turned 5 years old and he will be our youngest!

So many more treasures are waiting.

Hidden diamonds in the rough.

Maybe one of them is yours!

All of our younger kiddos are so excited!
Especially Ben, Sam, Joey and Luke!
Look out girls! The boys are catching up!
(The bigs are happy for us, too! They take it all in stride!
And right now they happen to be doing some pretty interesting things themselves!)

So exciting, Jean!! He is DARLING!!
What will his name be? I'm voting for "Jack" :)
In any case, he will be a beautiful addition to your family! Congratulations to you all.....

Congratulations! I hope the paperwork goes smooth and fast and that you are soon bringing this beautiful boy and Grace home. I love your van, but will you outgrow it with the addition of these two? Or can it be modified, if needed?

I just love how you are open to growing your family whenever you feel led to! Can I ask what agency you use and do you visit any specific sites when looking for waiting kiddos?

He's adorable! Yes, I think he will keep you on your toes. :) Congratulations! I was waiting for announcement of another after Grace.

You are right, there are so many treasures waiting. I so wish it were easier (less expensive). My heart truly aches and cries for them. I've been approved to bring home 2 this next trip, but I can't really even think about it.

Congratulations! OK I think we all need a post about how you make this all work. Not the money, some have plenty of that some none at all but the Lord makes a way. However I think about what kind of help do you have?? Cleaning, cooking, shopping for food clothing, laundry clothes towels bedding for 15??? You have lots of appointments for doctors but lots of activities for the kids to be taken to.... do you have a sitter, driver, helper??
Asking because we have 3 adult kids and have brought home 6 from China and I do home school. We are contemplating number 7 but I am maxed out each day just trying to keep up on all of the above. So give a few details maybe it may help me or others figure out a way to do more!!

I am so happy for you all! I can't wait to see it all happen. Thank you for your blog and your fine example. Because of you (and a few other adoption blogs) we have just applied to adopt a special focus child. We are scared and excited and happy.
Best to you all!

Hi Jean,
Couldn't believe you were adopting one only this time. So glad for your family...he looks pretty spunky. Which agency are you all with this time?

I'm so happy for you! And also interested in the questions Angie asked. I notice that you don't seem to have a social life outside of immediate family and Sunday church. Which is perfectly fine...just trying to figure out how you make all this work. There are only so many hours in a day and surely some of your children need occasional one on one time to talk/work through problems. Who watches the others when this happens? Or perhaps your older adopted children are capable of that. Sorry to be so rambling...so interested...so blessed by your family!

I MEANT...sorry to be so rambling. NOT sorry to be so blessed :):):)

ROTFLOL! So very happy for all of you! Thrilled to see a family, this day and age that see that children are a blessing from God. Some may think you are crazy for having so many, but how can you have too much love! My grandparents were one of 13 and one of 15, all bio. So much love!

CONGRATULATIONS!
