"Fields of the F*therless"

I am reading this book and love it. I guess that is predictable it is very pro adoption! It was recommended by another bloggy friend- I think it was you, Karen??

I have had it for awhile- well, you know how is goes! I carried it around for months. Even read parts of it but never sat down and focused on what I was reading until today. Once you get going it is a fast read and so joyful! It is the kind of book you don't want to put down and the kind of book you're excited to pick up again!

If you are on the fence about adoption - it is a must read for you!

ENJOY!!

Love your post about putting thing back in order! So true...

Loved the snow pics. Living in Iowa 30 years before coming south I do miss it- not the cold, just the snow. Of course today (2nd time this year) we had some in SW LA! Crazy!

Hmmm....never heard of the book, but I love to read anything about adoption!!!

Oh my gosh---you seriously do have a lot of snow. We still beat you though....ours is here till May :)

I read this book and absolutely LOVED it. I should actually read it again. It was a few years ago.

Thanks for the reminder. I need to get it off the shelf. Maybe I'll take it with me to the Ukraine--I figured I'll need a whole lot of books to keep me occupied for a whole month!

Love this book! The author is speaking at the Orphan Care Summit in MN in April. I really can not wait to hear him speak in person. I have passed this book on to many people, because everyone can do something...even if you are not able to adopt.

Read it, loved it, re read it, passed it around and so on! :)

Hvae you read "Adopted For Life"? That is another MUST READ! It is on the biblical command of caring for and adopting the fatherless. It will open your eyes, warm your heart, and add so much fuel to the fire! :)
