Third in State!!

This athlete has no appreciation for my blog! He was on to me and was not cooperative when it came to pictures.

Here is a pic of the third place medal- all the "athletes" on the team got one!

Finally, a smile! I told him it was for his memory book for high school!

Johnny gave up basketball this year. He has missed is and is planning to go out again next year. He plays year round soccer so that fills his time. Last weekend he was in Las Vegas at a soccer tournament- they did well but lost the semifinal game.

Since he has had more time with out b-ball he has joined Youth in Government and the Ping Pong team! Ping pong is pretty low key- it is a new high school sport. He is on the varsity team ;-)

Today they had the state match! His school came in 3rd in the state! The score was even up and it came down to a doubles match that Johnny was playing in! Whew! They won!! Parents weren't welcomed so we had to wait until he came home for the good news!

Thanks for putting up with me bragging about my son on the varsity Ping Pong team- I'm one proud Momma!! (actually I think it is a bit funny- ping pong... a high school sport hehehehehe!)

Whoo Hooo, Johnny! He'll have to come on down. Grace's paperwork says she LOVES ping pong and excels at it. Guess a ping pong table will be an upcoming purchase!!!!
