This is my grand nephew, West!
Oh my, I must say, it was so much fun having him with us! He is 8 months old and as cute as can be! We just couldn't get enough of him!

He was the hit of the party!

It was so wonderful getting together with my brother and his family! Many of the older kids don't live in town so extended family get togethers don't happen very often.

We did all appetizers, so the children grazed all they wanted too!

Each of the children are sitting under their stocking!

Billy and Kelly- such a cute couple!

My brother and sister in law with their children and grandson!

Now... it's... our... turn...

It is quite a process getting everyone in their place!

they are ALL goofballs!

they don't seem to listen to their Momma when it comes time to pictures!

And... as you can see Hubby is all worked up about where everyone will be standing...

Nope! He doesn't have a care in the world!
FYI- this guy has low blood pressure!

Lining people up for pics is definitely MY job!

We're ready!
Everyone SMILE!

And then we went to the other fire place and tried again ;-)
BUT, obviously some of us are very immature...

Finally... a good one!

Hubby's sister, Kathy joined us bearing gifts and lots and lots of cookies!

Who knew bubble wrap would be one so fun!

Pop, Pop, Pop

We miss Matt and Caitlin and Katie and Andrew.
As the big kids grow up and get married it will be very hard for all of us to get together- I'm leaving it in God's hands!
We also miss Auntie Barbie, who is vacationing in Hawaii- lucky her!

We are going to be eating Christmas cookies for a long time! Thank you Kathy!

This party is done and now we move on to a peaceful time celebrating with just us.
just us is still 14 people!

Thank you God for sending us your son our Savior Jesus Christ!

I can TOTALLY relate to the Family Picture scenario. :) Big Boys are goofballs . . . Hubby is totally mellow . . . No one is listening to Mama. But . . . GREAT pic in the end. Good job, Mama!

We will be having Christmas without 6 Big Kids and 4 Spouses. So hard! But . . . so THANKFUL we didn't "complete" our family with "just" 6 kids. LOVE having 5 younger kids home for Christmas, even with the Big Kids living across the country and around the world.

May your Christmas be BLESSED!

He he he he.....Yep.....I think we have similar hubby's ;).....

Oh well. It is a good thing he has a chill attitude, because I am pretty sure mine more than makes up for it! :)

Love your family pic!! I don't even want to think about some of our kids growing up!!! (our oldest right now is only 13).

I love the final photos...but the ones of your failed attempts totally cracked me up. Your expressions were priceless!

Your little great-nephew is such a cutie pie!!!

From the looks of it, I doubt your Christmas is very peaceful, but a whole lot of fun! Merry Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thanks for sharing the "getting the pictures together" photos. They were a hoot and made me giggle.

Merry Christmas to your family from Indiana.
