Jean, my heart is hurting for your beloved daughter and your family over this very disturbing incident by a person your daughter felt was a friend. Praying for healing from this.

love to you all,

Oh my goodness. My jaw is stuck on the floor! How did this person get her alone? Why?? Why would a grown person do this? Can you do something legally to her? She should really truly be punished for harming a child. Cause that is what she did! SHe is so awful and I am just so angry for you and for your sweet little girl. Give her a huge hug from me even though she doesn't know me. My heart actually hurts.

Wow is all I can say. People can be so heartless. I have been asked stupid questions. Give your daughter a hug for me. I am hurting to hear her hurting. Just remember, we care.

Jean, I'm so sorry you all have to go through this. Just curious . . . have you spoken with the woman who said this? This is just so beyond a slip-of-the-tongue. She sounds quite mean and even aggressive. I don't think she should have access to children.

Merry Christmas to you all!

Amen, Amen, and AMEN. Perhaps only those who have experienced it can believe it but it is true. God can give an adoptive mother the very same overwhelming, over-powering, mama-bear, wonder-of-wonder love that he gives a mama with a biological newborn baby laying on her chest. Love, like a never ending diamond, has a million facets. We don't measure them with words like more, less or better. We don't measure them at all, we simply let God twine our hearts around our child's heart...tight and forever...and we thank Him for the beautiful, rich gift of LOVE. Thank you, Jean, for telling the world. Since Zeke is gone, one of my greatest longings is that the world will know the LOVE that is possible in adoption.
