Abby turned 11 in January!!!
Just as we were in the process of moving...
We had the children spend as much time as possible
outside playing in the snow!
Now that we live in a city that has not yet accumulated any measurable snow,
we kind of miss it.
Abby's birthday celebration
goes to the tune of
This is the SONG (Birthday)
that never ends,
Yes it goes on and on my friend.
Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was
and they'll continue singing it forever just because...
This is the birthday that never ends,
Yes it goes on and on my friends!
And of course my camera wasn't working right!
You're eyes are fine!
Very thankful that are dear daughter rolled with it
and enjoyed every minute (in bits and pieces)
of her
celebrations!
To EVERYONE that donates blood~
THANK YOU!
You are making dreams come true!
Abby came home in December 2011
a very sick little girl...
Now she is healthy with regular blood transfusions.
I don't see sick...
I see a miracle!
I see
joy,
love,
and
restored health!
We had no problem doubling up on the birthday dinners...
boxes were every where,
groceries were slim in the house
and we ALL wanted to eat at our favorite restaurants
while celebrating Abby!
It's always FUN at this restaurant!
They throw food in the air and you see of you can catch it in your mouth!
Our bottle had "sake" in it so
I quickly jumped up and asked
"What's in that bottle?"
Everyone laughed...
it was SPRITE!
Whew!
I am sosooooo thankful that this pic turned out!
Everyone that lived nearby was able to come and celebrate!
Feeling abundantly blessed!
Round two of Abby and the kids...
You'd think my luck would have changed at this point...
But no siree...
more blurry pics!
Yes, it was most likely... my fault...
Happy 11th Birthday Abby!
You are a miracle!
Originally diagnosed with cancer
but once home and with further
genetic testing the diagnosis was changed!
We exhaled and thanked GOD!
You have so much personality!
Once you regained your health...
you blossomed!
Go for it, honey!
Ummm,
one candle left?
Who's your boyfriend?
We love you to the moon and back!
Thank you for being so flexible for this birthday!

Years ago you brought home a sickly child, and she has turned into a girl who is beautiful, vibrant, and active. What a wonderful testimony of God's love and restoration!
