It started out like this...
not so bad,
right!

But the snow never stopped!

It just kept coming...

Here is what April 14th and 15th looked like in Minnesota...

It looks like we completely missed spring this year...

Record low temps,

record snow,

record blizzard,

record depression,
record ice on the lakes,

record everything you don't want a record for...

The best part of a spring snowstorm is
that it will melt FAST!

It was a little too much weight for this tree!

Sarah was the first to go out and test the conditions!

We couldn't help ourselves...
we had to measure it!

Yes, that reads 19 inches...
because of the blowing a drifting.
It is NOT 19 inches everywhere...
Praise God!

Where did Sarah go?

Actually, the snow is a lot of fun for the kids!
They LOVE playing in it...
It's kinda like playing in the sand at the beach!
Kinda...

It was pretty funny watching the dogs try to run through the snow!

They weren't quite sure how to handle it!

They looked like bounding rabbits!
That's Quincy's back end in the air!

We are thankful that these two are getting along...
It was hard enough not keeping our Teddy...
Just can't bear to do it again...
